The Process
Zinc worktops are simply fixed or adhered to a natural timber substrate, treated timber or WPB ply. This can be applied to your existing worktop, or we can supply the timber substrate where required. Please specify when requesting a quotation.
The underside edges are usually fixed with annular rung 25mm fixings, meaning the substrate should be 25-50mm wide. Junctions, corners and extra wide areas can be fixed with a welded join, or in some cases, simply overlapped.
